The advanced 3D/4D dedicated softwares will give you the opportunity to take advantage of innovative ways of visualizing conventional 2D ultrasound images through sophisticated algorithms able to deliver outstanding 3D/4D volume reconstructions.
3D/4D Imaging

The latest real-time 3D/4D technologies make volumetric ultrasound scanning easier and effective, not only as an essential diagnostic tool, but also by providing parents-to-be with a glimpse of their baby-to-be. More than just real-time images, it creates real-time emotion.
The fully integrated 3D/4D capabilities allow for coronal, sagittal and axial scanning of the organ or pathology under examination. Diagnosis is more immediate and safe, and the multi-dimensional realistic imaging of anatomic structures is definitely achieved with standard probes:
TMIThanks to TMI, Tomographic Mode Imaging, a 3D/4D tomography slicing with rotating planes is available: several equispaced parallel planes are simultaneously displayed on the screen (CT/MRI-like interpretation). |
TPIThe TPI, Tri-Planar Imaging, is a 3D/4D multiplanar sections representation with rotating planes: up to three orthogonal sections can be rotated around a fixed reference system. |
VRAThe VRA, Volume Rendering & Analysis, offers more precision in generic pathology measurements: the user can manually track a precise contour plane by plane with a clear volume representation, receiving more morphologic information. |
TSIThe TSI, Thick Slice Imaging, can display a portion of the volume included between two parallel planes, in order to increase the perception of anatomical details, tissue separation, and hypoechoic structures as well. |
Measurements of length, surface, perimeter, diameter and angle as well as volume areas in the multi-dimensional display allow to provide both quantitative analysis and qualitative acquisition, with the link to a special database to file all personal datasets.
Additional video clips from gynecology and obstetrics as well as internal medicine, urology, cardiology, surgery and orthopedics are immediately available to be recorded, loaded and stored, together with predefined and user-defined application settings to create image collections.
The new 3D-4D VRA Counting allows to specifically calculate with accuracy and reproducibility the volume of a set of hypoechoic structures for a fast identification of their morphology and position (automatic hypoechoic spherical target volume measurements & counting).
The real-time 3D/4D imaging meet the requirements of MDD 93/42/EEC for the acquisition and visualization of 3D/4D ultrasound data in compliance with the latest requirements of medical diagnostics.
