3D Panoramic Imaging

The 3D Panoramic modality allows to create a 3D extended view by merging several acquired volumes.
As in the extended field of view modality, the volumes have to be acquired keeping into account the overlapping regions. The images generating the volumes need anatomical landmarks and no shadowing.

Two options are available when generating the merging of the acquired volumes:

  • PREVIEW option to help forecasting the final result, specially when no anatomical landmarks are available (e.g. volume acquisitions when using contrast media)
  • AUTO option to perform a data analysis focused on tissue structure recognition to find the best volume matching. Small movements due to patient breathing or low tissue compression can be offset by this advanced modality.
