- Dedicated Magnetic Resonance - Dedicated MRI imaging systems represent the Company’s second largest business activity. The Company - who has a long history of innovation in the field of dedicated MRI, providing systems with outstanding image quality, flexibility, cost-effectiveness and patient comfort - is today the only significant developer, manufacturer and seller of dedicated MRI systems worldwide.
- Non-imaging cardiology - Esaote is one of the leading players in Europe of electro-medical systems (ECG) and related instrumentation in Italy. The Company’s product portfolio includes both its proprietary range as well as biomedical equipment manufactured by other leading vendors. The Company’s position in the market is reinforced with its range of medical IT solutions, which are specifically designed for the organisation and management of hospital cardiology department workflow.

- Esaote plays a leading role in information technology through its subsidiary Pie Medical Imaging (Maastricht, The Netherlands) dedicated to angiographic image processing and quantitative image analysis software, and its business unit EbitAet, a leading RIS PACS & CIS PACS systems manufacturer for medical image and information management which provides top-line solutions for the effective implementation of filmless and paperless hospitals. Esaote is able to focus both on department workflow management and on the widest healthcare geographical enterprise networks.
