C³-Mode™ - Combined Contrast Chain, is the latest advanced fully integrated technique proposed by Esaote for the ultrasound radiology applications with contrast media. It is a real-time, high-spatial resolution, bidimensional, gray-scale technique ensuring extremely defined contrast imaging and very high sensitivity to the behavior of contrast media bubbles. This allows the use of a combination of high-low MI (Mechanical Index) techniques in real time and intermittent mode to detect and characterize focal lesions. Using the intracavitary probe, a complete study of fallopian tube perviousness can also be performed.
C³-Mode™

C³-Mode™ represents the Ultrasound Contrast Agents (USCA) tracing by using a combination of three different ultrasound philosofies: the Contrast Processing for the detection of USCA non-linear frequencies (by the Digital Adaptive Bandpass Filtering), the Non-Conventional Doppler Processing, and the Combined 2D Processing for an easier examination.
The ultrasound studies of the liver, kidney, etc., combined with the contrast agent properties, can be further supported by the C³-Mode™ technique to effectively answer the requirements of physicians in the clinical field.
The use of contrast agents in the USA is limited by FDA to left ventricle opacification and visualization of the left ventricular endocardial border.
Technology and features are system/configuration dependent. Specifications subject to change without notice.
