The Esaote trademark represents the story of the Esaote Group, which - at the beginning of the eighties - combined Genoese origins (ESA: Elsag - Selenia - Ansaldo) with the Florentine (OTE Biomedica) experience to become a big company, now successfully operating at an international level.
Over the years the Esaote Group has changed a great deal, also from an organisational point of view: from a state-owned company (1982) to a private company (1994), which went public (1996) and following a tender offer was delisted (2001); later on it was purchased by financial and banking investors, among whom the managers themselves (2006).
Trademark evolution
Notwithstanding these different, positive steps of Esaote’s life, the company’s name has never changed but the trademark has been renewed keeping the same original colours but modifying lettering and graphics.
This means that the Group was able to safeguard its own identity during the years while expressing the same concepts of creativity, of evolution and of innovation that it has always pursued both in technologies and in the products it develops.
The old trademark colours have been kept to embrace the past and represent the tradition and the solidity of Esaote, while the style is now soft and very clear, suggesting technology and creativity.
Only one trademark for all Esaote Group companies; the subsidiaries logos, combining the Esaote trademark plus the specific text, aim to create a more visible and unified group identity that adequately reflects the needs of a truly international organization.
