The North Yorkshire and Humber NHS Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening Programme at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals in Hull has taken delivery of two Esaote MyLabTMAlpha portable ultrasound machines to carry out potentially life-saving scans. The machines will be used to perform quick and painless scans on around 9,500 men who have reached 65 years of age across the North Yorkshire and Humber region with the results being available straight away.
