The 33rd Annual Meeting of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR 2026) will take place in Manchester, United Kingdom, from June 18 to 20, 2026, bringing together the international musculoskeletal radiology community for an in-depth scientific and educational exchange.
Hosted at the Lowry Theatre in Salford Quays, the congress offers a comprehensive programme covering the full spectrum of musculoskeletal radiology. While particular emphasis is placed on spine imaging and musculoskeletal tumours, the scientific content also addresses sports imaging, interventional procedures, metabolic and inflammatory diseases, arthritis, ultrasound, and emerging topics relevant to clinical practice.
The scientific programme is structured across multiple parallel streams, including a dedicated track focused on professional and societal aspects of radiology, such as diversity and inclusion, sustainability, wellness, leadership, and error prevention. This expanded format reflects the evolving role of the radiologist within modern healthcare systems.
