3mensio CT - Structural Heart & Endovascular

Less invasive and more precise procedures with pre-op analysis

Especially designed for and with cardiovascular specialists, 3mensio Structural Heart™ will let you plan aortic and mitral valve procedures and left atrial appendage closures. You will obtain one report of each session with multiple series and multiple imaging modalities. Thanks to a “Dedicated Workflow Assistant” you will be guided through the preparations for measurements.

The three software packages - LAA (Left Atrial Appendage) & TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), Aortic Root & TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation), Mitral Valve & TMVI (Transcatheter Mitral Valve Implantation) - work with all major medical imaging formats of US/echo, XA and CTA and can access multiple data stores on the network, CD, DVD, USB or the internet.


About 3mensio

Founded in 2003, 3mensio Medical Imaging originally started developing advanced imaging software for the radiology department, which was based on 3D image reconstruction and analysis of standard CTA images.

Since 2007, the company focus has moved to creating more dedicated workflows for both endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR) and more recently also for transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).

LAA (Left Atrial Appendage) & TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)

Pre-op planning for assessment of anatomy, location and size

The 3mensio Structural Heart LAA workflow is dedicated to planning of left atrial appendage closure procedures using CT images. The Left Atrial Appendage Workflow provides a fast assessment of the anatomical shape and orientation of the LAA in 3D. The application provides diameters along the LAA and lets you indicate a ring to mark the ostium of the appendage. The Angio View is essential for planning of the procedure. Additionally, Volume Rendered and long-axis views help to understand the anatomical structures in the atrium. Thrombus will easily be recognized throughout the different views.

Aortic Root & TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation)

Pre-op Planning for valve implantation, replacement and repair procedures

With the Aortic Root workflow you can easily analyze CTA, US and XA images and combine all results in one report. The workflow assistant will guide you through the aortic root analysis. Determine the right operative Transapical, Transfemoral or Subclavian approach for your patient with the dedicated workflows.

The Aortic Root Analysis leads to length measurements (measured from Annulus), diameter measurements (perpendicular view), visualization of calcification (Hockey Puck) and optimal c-arm rotation.
The Transfemoral Approach offers vessel diameter analysis with regard to catheter diameter, iliac angulation and optimal c-arm rotation.
The Transapical Approach leads to assessment of intercostal space with virtual catheter, Anterograde Annulus Entrance Angle, sceptal wall thickness and myocardium thickness.
The Subclavian Approach offer vessel diameter analysis with regard to catheter diameter, iliac angulation and optimal c-arm rotation.

Mitral Valve & TMVI (Transcatheter Mitral Valve Implantation)

Determine the anatomy of the mitral valve with a dedicated pre-op workflow

Mitral Valve & TMVI offers a clear view of the mitral valve in multiple viewing orientations. You will be able to trace and evaluate the annulus of the mitral valve, to get a clear view of the complex saddle shaped structure. Furthermore, the ED and ES phase are automatically determined.

  • Visualize the dynamic mitral valve, left ventricle and left atrium
  • Assess the mitral apparatus and perform measurements
  • Determine the optimal C-arm position with the simulated angio view
  • Detailed annulus information such as perimeters, surfaces, angles, etc.

Based on CTA images, 3mensio Vascular allows for pre-op analysis, sizing, planning and reporting: dedicated workflows help decision making, whether minimally invasive surgery is suitable and which endoprosthesis to use; only one click is necessary to segment the vessel; the centre line is detected automatically and can be easily adjusted by the user.
