FIMS 2026, the 39th World Congress of Sports Medicine, will take place in Santiago, Chile, from September 24 to 27, 2026. The congress provides an international platform for healthcare professionals, clinicians, researchers, and specialists in sports medicine to exchange knowledge, explore innovations, and promote evidence-based practice in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sports-related conditions.
The scientific programme covers a broad range of topics, including football medicine, anti-doping strategies, arthroscopy and rehabilitation, ultrasound applications in sports medicine, Olympic and Paralympic high-performance care, orthobiologic medicine, sports nutrition, and the role of physical activity in health.
